We are putting in a wireless network with WPA and it seems like the WI FI policy may allow us to push an SSID out to the 80 blackberry users that have WIfi. This would help in building coverage. Has anybody tried it? It is as simple as editing the "simple password" policy which we use to add wifi and the appropriate information. I am on 5.01 MR 5. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes, you can set this up via IT policy, but in my opinion it's not the best place to do it.
Thpse policy settings were put in place before WiFi Profiles existed.

You should set up a WiFi profile and then assign the profile to all of the handhelds that will use it.

BlackBerry solution management > Policy > Wi-Fi Configuration > Create Wi-Fi Profile
