Does anyone have a favorite BB weather application? I am interested in Berry Weather or WeatherBug or Handy Weather. What are the pros/cons of your favorite weather app? Right now, I have The Weather Channel.

what the... where is BBWeather? Not only is it the best free one IMO (do others even offer hourly forecast?) functionality-wise, but Tateu, the developer, is extremely helpful and attentive to user requests.

Definitely Berryweather, hands down.
I beta tested Berryweather so I am partial to it but I have tried the others and I think Berryweather takes the cake.

I use both BerryWeather and BBWeather... lately BerryWeather has been having issues with their weather source (Hamweather)... and I've been getting "update failed" messages when trying to update the weather data.

Here is the OTA link:
http://tateu.net/software/dl.php?f=BBWeather

If you're feeling adventurous and would like to try the experimental version which updates your location based on GPS, try this:
http://tateu.net/software/dl.php?f=BBWeatherEx
If you do try this version, be sure to read these instructions written by Tateu himself:
http://tateu.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=60

BBWeather
all the way! The latest version (0.88) is fast and has a small footprint. The screen has been updated from pervious versions with a much cleaner and more professional look as well. And best of all, it's FREE.

I think so... apparently there has been an issue of late, due largely to the growth of the product. They are now working to increase server capacity which is expected within the next 48 hours or so...

It offers the following views:
  • Today
  • Today with Sun/Moon
  • Today with Daily Forecast
  • Today with Hourly Forecast
  • Compact Daily Forecast
  • Compact Hourly Forecast

It also offers the following features:
  • Animated Radar Maps, including the option to use custom maps
  • Weather Advisory Alerts
  • Up to 10 concurrent locations including a GPS based location
  • Ability to display current conditions with current temp overlaid on a homescreen icon.
  • Ability to overlay a Weather Advisory Alert on homescreen icon.
  • No fees for any weather data.

All for $9.95 one time charge.

After several "false starts" with the update issues with BerryWeather, I have had to remove it from my BlackBerry. After numerous requests for resolution and updates from the support team at BellShare's website, I have been openly chastised for being "negative". I can no longer recommend this app. Despite it's great features endless promise, it simply has failed to deliver the goods, at least for me. I wish the thing had crapped out during my trial period - I could have saved myself $10... Regardless, I have two words for the potential customer: Caveat emptor.
