Default Song Length on Alarm

Please Login to Remove!

I have read a few posts about this issue and I am still unclear on the process or possibility of enabling my pearl to play an entire song for the alarm clock. I tried shortening the song to 1 minute, then, converting it to MP3 at a 64 bit rate. The song comes out to be 466 kb and it still only plays for 20 seconds before it stops. This is the only thing I do not like, I only want the alarm to go off so that I can hear most of the song....does anyone know if this is possible or if it is the programs I am using to convert? Any help would be appreciated.

Yea, I have not figured this out either... it's one of the biggest quirks I've seen on the Pearl.

Anyone have further input?

Changing the bitrate of it, should actually make it so it plays the song longer but I guess something you're doing isn't right. Another better alternative is upgrading to the TIM Italy release (newest version, stickied on top of the 8100 sectoin) and that version has fixed the problem.
