Exclamation Blackberry user problem after activation

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I did my migration this morning and i had to wipe a device of a user due to POLICY problem.

when i re activate the user by the enterprise activation everything sync OK exept MAILS ... the user only receive new mails not old one ..... how is it possible i did it yesterday with another account and i had no problem .....

do you have any ideas ???? do i have to delete user from BES server and create it again ... and if i do that the user will find back all his mail, personnal contact and calendar ???

Thx by advance this is really important ....

Do a search for prepopulation. If you activated the same user on the same device, then it will not prepopulate the messages. Even if you did wipe the device.

As you stated, you will need to delete the user from the BES and then re-add them. That will prepopulate the user's email. Also, pre-population doesn't get "all" mail. It can be set to 14 days or 750 messages max.

We get in this boat from time to time and we've just been doing a DM backup and restoring old messages from the DM backup prior to activation.

Or tell them how to use the remote search function.

I've been through this scenario so many times on my own devices, I simply don't see the need to have 2 months worth of email on my BB everytime I activate.

Just do the regedit from KB below and you always get prepopulation on Exchange and Domino
