Default Messaging agent lost - how to resolve

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I have a big problem here with my BES server, my BES is working with pultiple Exchange server outside our country, Looks lik eone of them is too long to respond so BES just stop working with .....

i lost connection yesterday night with the Exch server.

here is what i found in my BES log for this messaging agent 2:

MAPI call failed. Error 'Network problems are preventing connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server computer.', LowLevelError 1722, Component 'Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store', Context 1300

then i have

Handheld restart requested for [email address], reason: 'Mail server connectivity problem'
Adding a new stopper thread to have 2 in total
[DIAG] EVENT=Register_thread, THREADID=0x1534, THREADNAME="StopperThread"
Stopping handheld for "user"
[BIPP] Received status DELIVERED, Tag=7441
[BIPPa] Failed to find user for received status, UserId=62, Tag=7441
Loaded C:\Windows\system32\DbgHelp.dll
Memory dump 0706DE10, length 1024
etc etc etc
Worker thread failed to stop user within 300 seconds. Requesting Controller to generate userdump. Thread 0x1558, Handle=0x934

Now users can't receive maiul and the connectivity with the exchange is lost ..... how can i restart the connexion ? with minimum stop service time

can i set to a higher value the time out limit ???

thx by advance

Thanks DarthBerry !!!

my problem is solved ...... now .... because i don't have a global view on my network etc etc (big company ..... multiple teams PFFFFF )

in fact the remote site lost internet connection yesterday ..... and BES was unable to find back exchange server when it came back online (which is really strange for me) .... and because i'm a big newbie in BES world i didn't know that restarting instance will resolve the problem ..... i hate those problem where solution was easy as a click .... when you have all info directly (like network failure etc etc) it's easier to debug ....

Thx for helping me
