Default two "desktop" contact lists: how to remove one?

Please Login to Remove!

I am on BES and noticed that I have two desktop (BES) contact lists, and only one syncs to my 3rd pty calendar. I found that there were duplicate desktop files in service books in options, and deleted one of each, but I still have two desktop contact lists.

Any suggestions how to remove one list so there's only one for default and to sync etc?

thanks

Rim reports this issue is unresolved but offers a possible workaround for duplicate lists

Perform a full backup of data and applications on the BlackBerry smartphone before completing the steps below. A test BlackBerry smartphone is required to delete all data and applications from the original BlackBerry smartphone.

Restore the backup files to a cleared BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry Device Software 4.5 or later.
Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and configure the synchronization to import contacts to a .pst or .nsf file.
Clear the contact list database using Advanced in the Backup and Restore tool.
Back up only the Address Book - All contact list to a new backup .ipd file.
Delete all data and applications from the BlackBerry smartphone using the Wipe Handheld option. For more information, see KB14058.
Restore the Address Book xxx8211; All contact list created in step 4 to the cleared BlackBerry smartphone.
Import the contacts in to the .pst or .nsf file created in step 2. If prompted, click the Resync button to make sure only additions are made to the data file created in step 2.
Repeat steps 2 through 6 only if there are more than two Desktop or Unknown contact lists in the contact list options.

Default bump

Hi, I'm trying to use this workaround, but am having difficulty with the second step "Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and configure the synchronization to import contacts to a .pst or .nsf file. " I'm looking at the BDM in the Synchronization Configuration area, and don't see how to do this. I've tried a few different things, but haven't found the one that mentions anything about importing or .pst or .nsf files. What am I missing?
