Default Blackberry connect on E90 with new firmware 300.34.84

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, hoping someone can help.

I have been running BBC on my Nokia E90 (Blackberry is our corporate standard). Earlier today, I updated the firmware of my phone, and the new firmware no longer seems to support BBC (the latest version available for Nokia E90 is 8.14.1).

Has anyone had any experience in getting this combination to work?

Mark.

Hi machone!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but from what i have read since Nokia are no longer supporting BB connect on their devices with the new firmware onwards there will no longer be BB support on the E90.

Marc

Before replacing my E-90 with my Curve I used it with my BIS BB account with the limitation of been unable to respond to received PIN messages via PIN because seems our provider blocked it so I had to resort to answer via email to the other person.

I just upgraded my firmware on my E-90 and was planning to get a new contract with another number and account to it and now I readed about this.

You could downgrade your firmware to your older version but from the other side, you will loose the new goodies of the latest Nokia firmware.

Anyhow when you had your E-90 working with the Blackberry Connect could you use all the BB functions or you were limited as it was on mine and who is your cell provider ?

Default Nokia S60 BlackBerry Connect 4.0 vers. 8.23.1(.SISX, 2,89 MB)

I just saw Nokia site has a new bb connect sw.

Nokia S60 BlackBerry Connect 4.0 vers. 8.23.1(.SISX, 2,89 MB)
NOTE: You need software version 300.34.84 on your device. This client is for BlackBerry Connect 4.0. You may use the BlackBerry Connect Desktop software for your PC (see below) to provision your phone but it is not necessary because BlackBerry Connect 4.0 is able to perform Over The Air Enterprise Activation.

reading the description it says it is for 300.34.84

Let us know if this works with the 300.34.84
