1. Hasn't fixed the issue with losing the image that you set as your home screen wallpaper when you reboot the device.

2. Getting an error (sorry can't remember the exact error message) when streaming media on mobile youtube.

I found that on .185 i didn't have any issues. I downgraded until another beta release comes out.
1. I've never had this happen to me on any OS including .215. Are your wallpapers saved on your card or device?

2. Youtube works fine on .215 for me.

I don't think this is just the OS's bug cause I've never had a problem opening up a internet link from my bbm. Maybe it's also carrier related with their service books cause I don't remember hearing this from a Rogers bold user.

The BBM hotlinks are not an OS release issue and won't be fixed by upgrading.

Running .215 now.. had a problem where I couldn't get my wifi icon to go white instead of grey and my internet browser was gone, only rogers mall and hotspot browser were options.. and yes I did select "send service books" after I had done my restore from my backup file.

Here is how I fixed both:

I went into the advanced options>service books and then deleted every single service book except for "Provisioning". You need provisioning for BIS to be able to send you service books over the air. There should be only 1 service book in your list when you are done.

Then using your computer, log into the web interface for BIS and select "resend service books". All the service books get reloaded, my internet browser came back, my white wifi icon came back, etc.

Hope this helps someone out.

What I've noticed so far:

When doing a battery pull, it seems to light up as normal while booting, then blank out and go red light again, then boot up again and this time it completes the process. I don't seem to remember the double resets on boots in previous versions.

It possibly may be holding a slightly better signal. Where I live, sometimes I'll be watching the phone and the bars will go down to 1 slowly, and then back up again one by one and stay at 5 for awhile.. Just now I was watching and it only seemed to go down to 3. We'll see how consistent this is over time, but so far looks good.

BB Maps finds satellites fast now! It didn't make me wait 5+ minutes this time, only seconds.

Acutally, I was losing my image when disconnecting from DM. I had my wallpaper stored on the device and contrary to everything we know moving it to the Media Card actually solved the issue instead of causing it for once! Lol!

The wallpaper is on my memory card. Mobile Youtube didnt work with .215 and it worked when I switched back (Not too sure why it didn't work for me).

Will some one (PLEASE) answer this for me.

When you use app loader or DM 4.6 to install a new os, is it still necessary to first back up all your third apps using the "switch device" or do the newer os's and app loader back up your 3rd party apps for you?

Found a bug on .215. When you play a song and you adjust the volume from the default with a headset connected, the volume jumps back to default on the next song. The bug doesn't exist on .214.

They back up automatically but to be safer it's a good idea to do a back up first anyways incase the upgrade goes bad for some reason.

this OS is the most responsive one i have had on my bold to date.

the only issue/bug i have found is that when i get a new email, my phone doesn't vibrate...anyone else seeing this?

****nevermind, resent service books, that did the trick

best upgrade for me to date....

Can anyone PM me the file for OS v .215? I have seached the web but when you click on any of the links to it, the megalaud site says file unavailable. I have tried about 10 links but they all take you to the inactive megalaud site. Thanks.
