Hi,
I got my Curve 8320 for xmas, and this week I had to wipe and re-install the OS after a JVM102 error disabled the phone. I'm on T-mobile pay-as-you-go plan (non-UMA, etc).

So now I can't see any text messages. The phone said there were 4 messages after I refilled minutes (T-Mobile sends confirmations so that makes sense).

Then I had my daughter send me one. I immediately felt the phone vibrate and now it says 5 Messages, but when I click I see ADDRESS BOOK OPTIONS, not a list of 5 unread messages.

What do you suppose would cause this? How to correct?

Did you try hitting the back button? If the last thing you were in was the address book options, and you hit the end key instead of hitting back, it would have just dumped you to the main screen, and next time you go into messages you'll find yourself in that menu where you left off. The phone 'remembers' where you were in each application.

Yes, I tried it. But I didn't try hitting it TWO times until I was emboldened by your suggestion.
