Default E-mail Reader apps not working on Q10

Please Login to Remove!

I have installed 3 different e-mail reader (text to speech) apps onto my Q10, and am having the same issue with all 3. They read e-mails okay from personal accounts that I have added (hotmail, gmail), but none of the apps read e-mails from my work e-mail account. I believe this account is on an exchange server if that makes any difference. Suggestions?

Hmmmm, not 100% sure, sorry. Using Outlook on my workspace, looks like Microsoft Exchange, not sure if that's relevant.?

the APP may not work on both sides. I have an App installed on my Z10 and it wont work on the work side only the personal side. You can try installing it as a work App if you don't run into any IT policy restrictions.
Mine has restrictions.

alicepattinson - the apps I'm referring to ie. SafeDrive, VoiceReaderPro - work okay and notify me when I get a new e-mail on my Hotmail or Gmail accounts. However, when I get a new e-mail on my work account, nothing happens. It's almost like the apps don't even recognize that my work e-mail account exists.
tsac - yeah, I can't install any apps on the "work" side of my Q10, so maybe that's the issue.
Weird thing is, even the Voice Control app that is built-in to my Q10 won't read my work account e-mails either.

Check with your IT group and see if they have any restrictions that may be causing this.

Thanks for the tip. I did check with our IT team and they do have restrictions in place. No reader apps for me

I think your device is having a problem about syncing it.
