Default cheap chrome????

Please Login to Remove!

so i tired to do a search and i didnt find anything on this....

my first post but not new to forums.

so yesterday i got in the invisibleSHIELD by ZAGG. i wanted to clean off my screen before i put on the invisibleSHIELD and i usually use scotch tape to take off the dust and any excess oils on the screen. to my dismay i pulled off the tape and along came with it was the chrome paint from the chrome bezel has anyone else had this problem??? man im sooo mad i liked the chrome now i am thinking of buying a new one on cnn.cn

Scotch tape really isn't necessary to clean the screen. A microfiber cloth works wonder.

You might as well buy the black bezel now...its a good look.

well to try to fix it i decided to use the scotch tape all around the bezel and the majority of the paint was coming off and it was black underneath so it probably work out

yea its just a painted coating...not actual chrome. I dented my first 8900 accidentally and the indention was black...thank goodnees the speaker went out and they sent me a replacement..still I dont like the black bezel, but the all white on colorware looks amazing.

This has happened to at least one other person posted on another forum (I started a thread recently with a pic of his Zagg with the paint stuck on it). That dude just removed all the chrome too and said he liked it way better black.

Mine is getting rubbed off to the right of the screen from being in my holster...very sad...I like the chrome but will be getting a black here soon

i wonder what the safest way to remove the chrome is...i wouldnt mind making mine all black without having to swap the bezel hehe
