Default BestSkinsEver vs ShieldZone (Invisiable Shield)

Please Login to Remove!

I asked this question under a different topic but no one answered so I decided to create a new topic for this.

I know BestSkinsEver is the cheapest vs ShieldZone (Invisiable Shield).

I know BestSkinsEver covers only the front and back. What about ShieldZone? Does it covers the sides or it does not? If it does not, I might as well just get the one at BestSkinsEver since it's cheaper. I will pay extra if it covers the sides too.

Thanks.

It's why I got the InvisibleShield over BestSkins.

BestSkin is regular vinyl that will tear when stretched, rip when stabbed.

Edit: According to Seattle18, BestSkin uses the same material as ShieldZone. Only difference is that the ShieldZone products end up covering more of your product than BestSkins.

I have used BestSkins and found them to be pretty good. At $5.99, you can't go wrong.

I cannot say enough positive about BestSkins, they do use the same material which is a vinyl that is used in Automotive applications. It is a common material, its just these folks have taken the time to get one that fits to your device. You could get some vinyl and make your own, but why bother for 5 - 7 bucks.
I have used it on both iPods and my older 8700, and now ordered one for the Pearl. It also allows for some grip on the device.
You really do not want it covering EVERYTHING, IMHO... just the surfaces that that would slide on the "table" - I personally do not want it on the sides, not really much to protect there anyhow.

From my experiences in the past using both products and talking with the employees/owners of both places, it is the same exact material. The only real differences are sometimes the cut, they will use different numbers of pieces and shapes to cover the same device. And then the second is that ShieldZone offers a lifetime warranty, meaning they will replace the product for the same device or a replacement device of the same model for as long as you own the product. That is the main reason they charge more.

Both products are excellent.

Thanks. I don't how I missed that post.

Wow! It comes with lots of pieces. I think I will go and get ShieldZone.

I've used Invisible Shield on my black IPod and love it. Highly recommend. Kinda tricky putting it on, but if you take your time, it is so worth it.

Another endorsement for Invisibleshield from Shieldzone. I got it for my ipod nano and it has been truly amazing. I pop it in and out of a hard plastic armband clip and also keep it in my glovebox with lots of other crap - not a single scratch. Looks great too.

My thoughts exactly, and I did the same thing. I mean hell, I didn't pay $25 for my LEATHER SDA case. I'm sure they're great skins but I just can't see paying $25 for them when there's an alternative out there for $6. Might be eating my words in a few days when I actually receive it but until then, that's my opinion and I'm standing by it!

I have used both on various phones, ipods, and other devices. Since they are exactly the same product, you would have to be on your 4th change on the same device before Invisible Shield was cheaper than Best Skins. Also, they both protect the BB so well that it will break from the impact before the shield/skin is penetrated.

Does anyone know what shipping method Best Skin Ever uses? I ordered mine on the 16th and they shipped it on the 19th. I live in an apartment complex and just want to know if I need to look out for FedEx or if it will come USPS.

Thanks in advance for any help
