Default STORM 2 in the WILD!

Please Login to Remove!

Just saw a storm 2 in the wild....

how do i know

bc it was a touchscreen blackberry device and i was a patio table over from him while enjoying some food!

So what does it look like... imagine:

-Tour/Javelin top rocker buttons mute/hold or whatever Blackberry logo confirmed it was a berry. Smaller than original storm top button things...
-Send/End/back/berry button flat and a part of the screen sorta looks like Gemini buttons!

ohh now that i type this i actually see a real photo of the storm2 of a guy holding it haha, anyways it was exciting to see this!

My friend whos working for mechanical design for RIM is developing a phone that will be released in two years, I'll try and get more information/code name from him but it's doubtful because if that is leaked he will be fired instantly... haha

Enjoy

Andrew is right in Waterloo. He sees lots of things we don't. Nice one Andrew. I would have walked right up to the Guy and asked him to see it and snapped a pic!

Lol you might want to edit your number out and send him a DM so some crazy groupies don't get your number and call you at all god awful hours of the night waking up your hole family and then not getting back to sleep so your late for work and lose your job. And we all know its tough to get a job these days.

I have been in the Verizon store several times "visiting" my next phone (the storm). I'm really just waiting to see just what improvments have been made to the storm before taking the plunge. It seems that everything right now is really alot of speculation. Being this close to a possible release I would hate to get one only to see improvments I wanted incorperated into the new phone.

Someone I know has one...ahah

It's a very nice device! But this is one of the multiple touch devices coming out. I think I know of 3 or 4 right now.

I thought the storm2 looks exactly like the storm. Are you sure that is what you saw? How would you be able to tell the difference? Especially from a distance.

No. the STORM has actual physical buttons at the bottom.
STORM 2 has touchscreen buttons. i.e. they are part of the screen, as you can see in the image, vs. an image of the storm from the bb website.

i played with the storm 2 over the weekend...it's basically the same thing as the original storm...just a few minor tweaks here and there..OS was new 5.0....if you think that the new storm 2 will be revolutionary, be prepared to be disappointed...i'll just stick to my BOLD on ATT...touch screen is not for me...
