Here comes a rather stupid question for most of you, I have no doubts.

The ring tones on my phone don't tickle my fancy, so I'd like to get some new ones. I've tried to..transfer media files from my laptop to the phone, but I've failed. I'll have to give it another go later Now my other option is downloading ring tones from the Internet. And since my SIM hasn't even been set up properly yet, my question is whether I can download them on my laptop and then..attempt the transfer again?

Put them onto the microSD Media card in the BlackBerry..
When you plug your BB into your PC, you should have an option to use the media card as a drive.

You can also take the media card out, put it into your PC, copy the files and then put it back into the BB.
