Its actually two quick questions, but whatever.

I have a curve 8520 and I really like it, but the plasticy feel of the battery cover annoys me sometimes. I was thinking of buying the 9300 battery cover off ebay for about $3. I'm pretty sure it will fit, but if anyone knows anything about this please let me know.

Also, I do not have a blackberry data plan on my phone, but I have a wifi network at home. I know I can surf the web on a wifi network without data plan. But I was just wondering if I could get a facebook and twitter app on my phone without having a blackberry data plan. I don't think I can, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

You must have a BB data plan for facebook, twitter or any other RIM related service.
