Anyone else having problems with getting alerts from their calendar on the 8300 World Edition? My appointments that have an alram set not only never go off, but it never shows a red star on the calendar to tell me that there is an event upcoming. I have made sure my settings are good for the calendar to make noise, but it doesnt. Any thoughts?

I had the same problem and the patch did not help. They sent me a replacement 8300 and I tested it right when I got it and it worked. I then restored my contacts and calendar events and it no longer worked. After an hour on the phone with support, they had me remove all but one of the CICAL entries. Go to the settings>options>advanced options>service books and look at the email address entries. I had three for my three email accounts. I deleted all of them except for the blackberry email account. powered off, removed the battery and powered back on. Now the reminders are working again.
