hello,

I setup a new bes with differnet name and a newer version, but it won't show up under blackberry manager on the original server. How do I get it to show up? what i want to do is move users to the new bes.. if its even possible.

Did you point the install process at the old server's BES database? It will only show up if the servers are sharing the same BES configuration database.

ahhh I see. I wanted to take down the old bes after migrating all the users.. I guess its not as simple as i thought.

They can share the same database - you can then migrate users using the move user function in the manager. I assume you have 2 SRP IDs as well.
