Do these 8800 cases fit the 8300 though?

I can not post here what she said to him! <blush>

No, sorry for the confusion. they are different cases, I was just stating that by checking the bay you might find an 8300 case for a bit cheaper. Although, it might still be a bit early.

All good...
You are correct. We are working on a full line of Curve accessories as we speak.

Thanks

Would the plastic holster for the 8700 work for the 8300?

pls let me know as soon as they are out. we use the hard plastic black skin on the 8800 and the swivel holster that is plastic and has the clip up top. Needs these for the curve bad. We'll order about 20.

My 8700c OEM Black leather case (with the magnet over closure) fits the 8300 fine and no problems with the sleep mode function either.

I don't clip the holster on my pants waistband unless I have pants on that have no pockets. I usually clip it inside my pocket and I'm most comfortable that way. Even with my older and larger 7520.

I'd never keep the BB with no holder/cover....I'm far too much of a hammer-hand, as an old old family member used to say to me! Protects it and plus it's in something a bit more stable than chilling out all free and clear in my pocket or work bag.

Yeah, fits pretty well and the magnet puts it in "sleep" mode

I'll be using a Sena vertical pouch case made for the 8700 with my BlackBerry Curve when I get it next week, I hope it fits okay. I'll either buy an OEM or aftermarket case for the Curve later on down the road.

for those of you wondering... Curve with Skin fits very snuggly inside the OEM 8300 holster.

Props to this user. I ordered mine thursday morning at like 8:30 am ..It was shipped that day and arrived cross country on Saturday (from Cali to Va) to greet my like 18 hour old 8300.

I like the case very much. I think i'm gonna buy a backup! And it was such a great price! And amazing quick delivery for first class mail cross country!

Unfortunately, I messed around and let it get "out of stock" before I decided to order from that source. I wound up ordering directly from Blackberry...so my wait will be longer, I'm sure. But, they site says that they will have more stock on June 5...so I am ordering a backup for sure. That is definately the best price I've seen.

RIM had my two 8300 leather swivel belt clip cases to my office in only a few days. For me there is no better carry solution. I can not carry the phone in my hands all day and need to be able to get it in and out of the holster quickly. This is important and I do not want to struggle to do this!
