Default 8320 email problem

Please Login to Remove!

I am a Blackberry newbie and received a 8320 for work that was from a previous employee. We have BES and Microsoft Exchange server. So two email addresses from the same exchange server at work, [email address] and [email address]. My procrastinator Outlook profile receives emails sent to [email address] (shared mailbox i think). Currently, i only receive email on the bb for [email address]. So looking for ideas why i wouldn't be receiving the [email address] email's like i do in Outlook. Ultimately, i would like to be able to "Send using" as [email address] from the bb in addition to [email address].

I checked through the FAQ's section without luck. Also, I have contacted the IT guy at work but he doesn't have much knowledge with BES. He has sent the Enterprise activation again in hopes of resolving the issue with no luck.

Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated.

I was able to resolve the receiving email from support. I removed my rule in Outlook to move all emails to support to a created, support folder and ran "Register Now" in the Host Routing Table on the bb. Now to just figure out how to setup "Send using".

You didn't need to remove the rule. You just needed to enable folder redirection on your device.

Messages > Options > Email Settings > Menu Key > Folder Redirection and then select the folders you want redirected to your device. In your case the support folder. There's no way to "send as" the support address from your device. The BES can only activate one Exchange account per device.

If your company supports OWA, you may be able to add the Support account to the BIS site. This will give you the option to receive email (to a new folder on the device) as well as send email from that account as well. However, you would need to know the password to that account to set this up.
