Default 8320 Corrupted some pictures

Please Login to Remove!

Using the camera in my 8320, I took a few great pictures of my 1 year old son playing with a train set. Not having a microSD at the time, I saved the pictures to the on-board phone memory. I have not enabled Encryption for the local memory, but Compression is enabled by default. I purchased a 4GB SanDisk microSDHC card and the phone recognized it right away. I enabled Mass Storage mode on the microSD but did not enable Encryption. To free up some on-board memory, I used the Roxio Media Manager to MOVE the files from the on-board pictures folder to the <media card>/Blackberry/pictures folder. Now these photos are corrupt (they have horizontal lines through them.)

I have since tried copying them back to their original location in the phone's local pictures folder and the pictures remain corrupted.

Anyone experience this or know what might have gone wrong? Any suggestions for a good program to recover/rebuild corrupted .jpg files?

I had my phone plugged into my monitors USB port... I turned it off and it did this to the my background image near the phones USB port. I though my screen was ruined but it did that to the actual image file, screen is fine.

quizkid, If you had photo programs as such adobe, ACdSee, on and on. those can open your some corrupted pictures.

By the way, I am realized that If you buy a cheap/ genetic media card, sometime it would cause to corrupt it. Or If you shot, shot pictures without let camera save picture into media card, its possbile cause that corrupted pictures. that's what I figured out.
