Why go to T-mobile when you have it available from Singtel? I'm wondering if the problem is serious as I faced many problems with Siemens SK65 too. My feeling is all the Blackberry Connect devices have been made to be lagging behind! I'm waiting to see if XDA2i or 3 can achieve a more respectable BB Connect. Cheers!

In what I have seen and been told, it is not a case of 'made to be lagging behind' - these devices are only capable of so much when it comes to always on, always connected data.

People don't like to hear it, but these devices are NOT in general very good data devices. They struggle to perform even the basic BlackBerry functions.

That is not to say they are bad devices or that BBConnect is bad - I think in most cases it will offer the absolute best mail/data experience you can have for that type of device and if you need a different device for a particular purpose that will be great. However if you are trying to use it specifically for the functions BlackBerry brings then you are 99% more likely better off buying a BlackBerry. They are designed specifically for how these services work.

Cannot install BB Connect on a P900 - I'm so not happy....! If you try to install it, you get an error regarding an incompatible version of Unpack 1.0...!

Does anyone know how to get round this....?

I installed the BB connect SW on my P910i - the installation finished successfull and the service is running.

I selected Blackberry Solution because we have a BB Server in our company and the configuration tool installed the Service Books on my device.

The problem is that I am not able to connect to the server for remote adress lookup and I am not getting any email forwarded neither can I send any email through the BB Server. With my Blackberry 7290 it always worked perfectly.

My private InstantEmail account is working without any Problem.

I talked a lot with the BB Support Hotline of T-Mobile Austria but they could not help me.
