Angry I tried to hold out! But i cant take it anymore!

I never thought that day would come when i would'nt have a nextel phone. I've been with nextel since the base radio. I've had every unit, i1000plus and every unit before that. I loved nextel dispite the poor service. But since sprint has taken over the name nextel has become a curse word in my house. I tried to be patient. I've had this 7100i since December '05. Im convinced that sprint has pretty much fased out iden :( No new blacberry in almost 2 years, and they have no plans on releasing one in the distant future. Sprint sucks. I have (had) 10 units on my account, and in the last six months, I have been overbilled $500 per month due to Sprint's constant over billing. I've received credits for all the overcharges after spending 2 hours or more on the phone with customer care, and telling them how clueless they are.

I even have to change my name.....

Sorry to see you go. I have been Nextel for a long time and recently switched over to Sprint and am very happy. (so far)

I had very bad times with ATT myself and hope you fare better.

It seems like thats what sprint wants all of Nextel customers todo switch to sprint. i think sprint sucks.

Just curious which BlackBerry you have switched to on AT&T? I've always heard that service quality is great on AT&T, but their CS isn't nearly as good as T-Mobile and they're also more expensive. I'm very happy with my Blackberry 8300 (Unlocked AT&T model) running on T-Mobile - you might consider the 8320 on T-Mobile if you're not already locked into a contract.

BTW: I was also a Nextel customer and left just after Sprint bought them. The billing went to he__ in a handbasket right after they took over, so I was happy to be rid of them. They were very uncooperative in helping me upgrade to a new phone when I had an accident and dropped mine in the hot tub. I only had like 1 or 2 months left on my contract. So stupid that they would treat a customer so close to account renewal so badly. As a result, I started looking around and found the much better deal at T-Mobile.
