Exclamation Serious Problems With Telenav On The 7520!!!!

Please Login to Remove!

Ok here we go!! Last night I downloaded telenav and it caused my BB to crash.. Wjhat I mean by crash, I could'nt see my screen i was blocked by the nextel screen. I did a hard reboot got the hour glass icon for about 13 min. and then right back to the nextel screen. Now i could speed dial a call and if a call came threw i could see the caller ID. Now this 1130pm est. So you know there was not tech support, so i gave up for the night. Woke up this morning all looked to be normal. I realized at 9am est. I was'nt getting my emails but telenav worked like a charm. I did another hard reboot and i was right back to the nextell screen. I waited 2 hours and i could not get into my bb.

So I finally did a restore and was able to get in.

I scared to try to connect to telenav again.

Anybody havin a similar problem?

I know it brand new and there are going to be buggs But DAMN!

I had the exact same problem. Even after I removed Telenav, sometimes when I reboot my handheld it will take about 10 minutes on the hour-glass, then go to the TELUS screensaver. Can still perform functions on BB, just that the screen is blocked by the standby screensaver. Just kept rebooting until it didn't happen... now afraid to reboot.

Last time I try Telenav.

Its not Telenav its your handheld. Call your provider and explain the problem they should send you another unit.

Its a problem with the 7520 not Telenav.

Nextel sent me a new unit, and i no longer have that problem. You also need to delete your call log thats what causes the hour glass to appear for so long.
