I am trying to clean up my free memory as directed on a couple of other threads. As part of that, i was looking to delete some unused languages but can't figure out how/where to do that on the 8800. Any suggestions?

Thanks. I tried both of those but in neither do I find the extra languages (such as French, Italian, etc.) listed. Are they buried under something else?

You know what? I see something on my 8800 that looks like the languages under Modules, but I need confirmation from someone....

I see LOTS of modules that appear to be language packs, etc., ending it "fr" , "hu", "it", etc.

Does anyone know what to delete for languages in this case?

Saw the same thing and assumed that was it, but obviously did not want to delete without knowing. Any insight would be appreciated.

If you do it from the desktop manager application loader it will be much more clear. It says "Languages" and under that it lists all of the languages and you can uncheck any you want to uninstall.

I don't have any such option in the application loader. It just shows the external software that I have added but nothing re: BB software. Am I looking in the wrong spot?

It wasn't untill I downloaded a new OS onto my computer and put it onto my phone that I could view and remove the extra languages on my phone.

Have you ever put a newer OS on your phone?

What Parisot said... You have to install the device OS on your computer before you can view it in desktop manager.
