On the 7290 handhelds, Is there a way to change the startup image? I know you can set your own backgrounds etc but i'm interested to know if that first image that pops up can be changed and if so, how?

Note that this is different to the Set as Standby Screen option you can set when selecting pictures.. That seems to only take affect when you lock the keyboard.

This is the very first image you see... i'm starting to think it might be programmed into the handheld itself as I can't locate the image file anywhere on the handset :(

Any experts out there have an idea on this one?

No, you can't change it.

the images that appear when I block the keyboard can be change if you have a valid ".ipd" files to replace the original:

1. From backup and restore in DM choose advanced
2. Remove the "content store" from the list
3. Choose the other file ipd that you have
4. Reload the new contrent store
5. Remove the battery and reinsert it

The missing part of this is that i have another ipd files, but i have no idea of how to create it.
