Please help, i'm new in the blackberry world and I tried to change the software from verizon to iusacell. I have the desktop manager 5.0 and i downloaded the pack: 8330EFS_PBr4.3.0_rel199_PL3.1.0.71_A4.3.0.124_Fast 100 from blackberry, then installed on my pc, then I erase the vendor.xml file and launch the desktop manager and the manager don't find my blackberry. I try too erasing the RIMDeviceManager folder before to use the device manager from the pack and neither find my blackberry. Please what I'm doing wrong.

- Most CDMA carriers will not allow devices from other carriers on their networks
- If you are trying to change the branding on the device when it starts up, then you can't do that either.

Well, first of all, thank you for the help, and... synter, actually no, my blackberry don't have a datta plan, and... NJBlackBerry, exactly the second one, finally find the way to change the software and the blackberry gone death :(, I uploaded the verizon's software and erevything it's ok. thank you.
