Hello everyone, I'm a new user to the blackberry world and no surprise, I'm already having problems - two problems to be exact. I have a blackberry curve 8310v4.5 and this is what's wrong with it:

1. Recently my phone decided to stop accepting and sending text messages. When I write to one of my friends, it shows up as sent, but when I talk to them, they haven't received anything from me.

2. All of my messages have been saving to my SIM card, which of course limits the number of messages I can receive. I set the option so that it no longer saves on my SIM Card, does this mean that the messages will be automatically saved onto the phone itself?

I'm sorry if these problems have been repeated, but I've tried to scourge the forum looking for these answers and my eyes are about to pop out from my continuous search. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Best thing to do for SMS issue's is contact your carrier make sure they are allowing your send/receive SMS messages.

Yes, contact your carrier and ask them to reset your sms features. It's possible you have a sms feature code twice on your account resulting in these kinds of errors.
