Default Test Blackberry environment

Please Login to Remove!

I have just given a duty to look after the Blackberry server setup. The person who used to look after the Blackberry setup has left the company without a handover…

I have a Blackberry server setup as:

1. Blackberry Enterprise Server (LAN)
2. Blackberry Router Server (DMZ)

The version of Blackberry Server software is 4.1.6.13.

We need to upgrade Blackberry server setup to 5.01 so that we can upgrade our Exchange environment from 2007 to 2010.

I would like to build a test Blackberry environment so I can perform an upgrade in test before I upgrade the production.
How do I go about building a test Blackberry environment? Is it possible to use the production license keys in test environment?

You can start here BlackBerry - Enterprise Server 5.0 at BlackBerry.com. This should help you understand what you are getting yourself into.

From there, I'd check this link out BlackBerry Enterprise Server for Microsoft Exchange - Manuals and Guides. This will help you prepare your next step, depending on your other requirements.

You have options!

You can not use the production keys in teh test area.

Your SRP can only be used on one server.
But you can get a trial to play with.

Thank you very much for your help guys !

I have an Exchange 2007 Test Environment and I would like to add a Blackberry Test Server running a trial software.

Can I use my existing Blackberry Router Server (DMZ) with a Blackberry test Server running a trial software ?
