searly, I can wear BT headsets that use the ear canal for short periods, but have found the Jabra and Plantronics headset use the space between the ear canal opening and the back of the ear to support the unit. They use a gel "loop" the wedges gently into the entire ear opening (not that actual ear canal), and the Jabra includes a sort of funnel/lip to direct the audio.

These are the most comfortable I have found that do not require the over the ear loop.

I'm using the Blueant SuperTooth 3...
had it for my Voyager before getting the Storm, and have not had any problems
at all. It is far more convenient and hasslefree than any BT earpiece. It site right there on my visor...and I am able to hear the person on the end of the call very clearly, and they have no problems hearing me. Hope this helps.

Visor style units are quite convenient, but keep in mind the OP is asking for feedback on Headsets/Earpieces. This leads me to believe that want something more versatile than a visor unit.

Jawbone 2 expensive, fits poorly. sounds clear on my end, but people complain on the other end. My plantronics 222 ($39) is very good on both ends.

I absolutely *love* my Plantronics Explorer 370.

This is the one that cnet (I believe) drove over twice with a Toyota 4Runner during their test to prove its ruggedness.

Sound quality is great (on both ends); the blue-colored version has a wind screen over the microphone that blocks out extra noise.

Oh, and it's between $25 and $35 from buy.com.
