NEVER EVER SPRAY ANY LIQUID ON ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICE!!!!!!!
Whoever told you to do this is an idiot. Or at best a totally clueless person. If this was someone in a store, stay away. If this was a friend or family member, just don't listen to their advice ever again.
It's hard to imagine going six months without cleaning your screen at all so I'm doubtful that the cloth by itself is going to do the job. If your screen requires something more than the microfiber cloth as recommended by others, lighty (I repeat, lighty) mist the
cloth (
not the screen) with the lens cleaner and then apply to the screen. The cloth should be only slightly damp - on or two light sprays on the cloth (I'd start with only one) should be plenty. The less, the better. Is you see any residual liquid on the screen, you've used too much.
