Hi, a mate mailed me a mp3 ringtone, but unfortunately I cannot download it on my 8900. Is this normal?

no. it isint. you should be able to download ALL email attachments. Now, you might now be able to view them all ( i cant view PDF's of vision files, for example) but i sure as hell can save them to my phone.


are you sure this wasnt an MMS or something..? (and even then, i think you still can save the content...)

Are you attempting to save it in the internal ringtone folder? You can move it after saving it.

Depends on the size. Some carriers will limit the file size going through their network.

Can you save/open on your PC and then move to the media card?
