trying to sync with mac.
always worked smoothly.
now I get an error that says connection can not be made "skipping"....
reboot- no help
salt over shoulder -- no help
changed cables/ cleaned connectors--- no help
rtfm--- what fm?
sync program is called pocketmac, it came with the device (8900).
Has anyone had and solved this problem

Hello Newbie,

Are you working with the new PocketMac 5.0 or an older version of the software?

my 8900 is running 4.6.319(platform4.2.0.108)
my ibook is running os 10.4.11

I guess that makes me a dinosaur newbie
I tried to load the newer 5.0 pocket mac ... it won't load on my old OS

so that makes me a dinosaur in a tar pit

any suggestions?
