Hi all,
I have just bought a new BB 8900 and I configured it.
Then it run out of battery and I did't charge it for one week.
After coming back and having charged the battery when I powered on it it asked me to set the time and I saw that the wallpaper was the default one.
My question is : does ( and if so what and why) the bb loose some setting when it run out of battery and I must pay attention to charge it again ?

I would imagine that it's the same as any electronic device in that it only has a certain amount of reserve charge once the battery is dead. Once this reserve charge is depleted then it effectively gets put back to factory configuration. Personal config wouldn't be (for want of a better term) "hard wired" into the device like factory setting would be.
I could be wrong but it would mean that BB's are fundamentally different to any other electronic device I've ever owned.

the first few battery pulls put the default ATT wallpaper in place of a pic i usually have. but now the pic stays on. no clue why
