Sorry if the topic has been covered, I have tried searching. I just got my blackberry 8730e and I set it up so I can send and receive e-mails from my school's email server on my blackberry. But when I delete or send e-mails on my blackberry they don't show up in the sent folder/trash on my e-mail account. Does the blackberry save these deleted/sent e-mails anywhere? Is there a way I can ensure that they do go to my trash/sent box on my e-mail account when done from my blackberry? Thanks in advance!
Deleted on the BlackBerry = gone. It does not "save" deleted emails. That is what delete is for, right? You can set the BB to delete on the BB only, or on both your handheld and the email server: Messages > Options > Email Reconciliation > you choose.
I am betting you are on a BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) setup with your school email. To get the reconcile feature of deleted items, etc., you will need a BES system, and that is probably not going to be available with your school email.
