I am not sure I understand the question. Do you want the email address of the user to show up on the user page?

qc, not sure if you've tested this on BES 4.1, but just to report, it works fine.
also, in setting SHOWALLATSTARTUP to "true" the options for 'Inactive', 'DisplayName', 'Status', 'PIN', and 'ModelName' are not selected. All of the options, sans 'DisplayName', are deselected.

Our mailfile name is the users man number so its how we normally distinguish on the BES, but if you could do email address that would be so much better!

I can do email addresses. They already show up in my java pop up stuff. I guess I forgot to add it to the user.php page. I will whip it up and test it, then send it to you.

I think I might have this resolved - I'll post a new index.asp shortly. Thanks for finding that

Might be easier to write it as a SQL trigger in the DB Instance and let it handle the notification. I probably won't jump in and do it as I don't need it. Mine would be alerting me way too much. I have people that go months at a time as inactive. It drives me insane that we continue to pay for them.

I've never had to do that, and I'm not sure where to start, but that sounds easier than coding a win32 module...
Any good places to start?

Nope. This zip just has all the stuff that I have fixed and added since you started using it. I had been sending you the individual files. jibi wanted a copy of everything so I figured I would post it here in case anybody else wanted it also.

I suddenly feel less special
Glad I could help with the testing.

thank blubyu for the PHP version, and SimonMac for testing it (and myself early, early on); and qc_metal and zip for the latter ASP pages; and BJGrim for starting it all off to begin with. i know all of these projects went quite a while without updates, and then *boom*, they just took off... great to see the developers/coders/scripters (or those with some skills) showing interest.
the PHP stats definitely have a look-and-feel that i love. i will say that 2 department VPs absolutely LOVE this utility. our information security and purchasing departments use it constantly to keep up with various stats and issues. definitely better than the multi-thousand-dollar commercial alternatives out there, especially if you simply want basic statistic reporting.
