Default You have inserted a SIM Card message in 9600

Please Login to Remove!

Every time I fire up my BB I get this message. How do I get rid of it?
" You have inserted a SIM Card. Would you like your blackberry to automatically select CDMA or GSM based on the network availability? "
My provider is Sprint and it uses CDMA. What should I do?

Remove the SIM from the device.

Just choose "Yes" or "No".

If you choose Yes, and are traveling internationally (without CDMA coverage) your phone will switch to GSM.

If you choose No, and are traveling internationally (without CDMA coverage) your phone will not automatically switch and you will have to change in GSM in the options.

Choose yes. If you are not planning on traveling internationally it won't matter.

Ok. Well then your phone will do what it is supposed to which is switch to GSM when you are in that area. If you travel then you should have already accounted for that and have a international plan. So you will not have a problem.
