This is the exact same software build that T-Mobile Germany has release a few days ago.

Danke, man! From your signature link I went to the german bb forum, where I the best BB update guide for german speakers. I flashed the latest firmware from T-Mobile and the boldie runs smoothly! I didn't recognize any visual differences from the previous firmware version except the texas game, but anyway it a nice feeling to be up to date

I tried installing this on my Rogers Bold, it booted up fine. Then I left it installing my backup. 4 hours later I thought it weird that I hadn't had a phone call/text/email, and I noticed the progress bar hadn't moved. I cancelled, waited 10 minutes, then unplugged the phone, because I was supposed to go out. I've been trying to turn it on for the last 40 minutes. Tried everything I can think of to get it to work, but nothing seems to.

Can anyone offer me any bit of advice to get it working, or am I just phoneless till Tuesday when I can take it to Rogers?

To disconnect it during the flashing was a bad idea. Try to do all the same again, maybe this will help.

No need to post, as it is the same version.

I don't see I had much of a choice. It wasn't doing anything.

It won't connect to anything. I can't get more than a white screen with tiny ticking clock. Best I can tell, I need a manufacturers "Master Reset". Hopefully, I'm still covered by Rogers or RIM's warrantee...

What kind of bug of Dm4.6 are you talking about?

Is the Vodafone version different from the one from BB.com? I saw there are around 30MB of difference...

Thanks!

There is a newer one out in the wild but it's still considered beta so no one will be able to provide you with a link as per forum rules.

Just installed 9000M_PBr4.6.0_rel253_PL4.0.0.139_A4.6.0.134

and its light years better - getting 1300 kbps down and 380 up while tethered now....latency also improved! This is no beta I don't think anyway

Although, technically until they find one that works, they are all beta's.

Of course it's beta. Beta just means it's not officially released.

OK i've just done this software update on my brand new BB Bold on Orange UK and i've now lost the ability to edit email reconciliation options and as such i no longer get alerted when i receive emails...

How do i undo what i've done? Either that or hopefully RIM see's this and produces a fix.

Default Bold drops

I have found the latest OS drops my 3G connection every once in a while. I keep it on 3G only so it doesnt flip back and forth, but now it just drops and stays off till i reset it.

9000M_PBr4.6.0_rel253_PL4.0.0.139_A4.6.0.134

BB is going to screw their sales with bad press

With 126 I never had problems with 3G however with 134 the 3G would fluctuate very much from 3G to edge. This was tested in Halifax, Ottawa, Montreal, New York and Washington.

I will be downgrading back to 9000EastAsia_PBr4.6.0_rel243_PL4.0.0.135_A4.6.0.12 6_Hutchison
