Default Can I turn receiving of emails off but leave phone on?

Is there a way of telling by Pearl to not get any emails from the BES server, but I still want to use the phone function. Turning wireless off would achieve the no email part, but also turns off the phone. Any hints? Any add on software?

You can also go into the BIS service, if that's what you're using, and stop emails there. That way you can still use the data services for web surfing and such.

While in a message list, Menu -> Options -> Email Settings -> first option should be "Send Email To Handheld", set this to No

I would like to turn off e-mail checking automatically overnight, but to leave phone on. Does anyone know how can I have some kind of scheduler to do this?

e-mail checks cause interference with the baby monitor and I would like to disable e-mail checking, while having the phone.

not that I know of. Turning off the data services has to be done manually.

If you only turn off the data transfer, the phone is still on and I assume the interference comes from the phone talking to the nearest tower.
