Default How to test a blackberry application

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have developed a small blackberry application.
Please suggest me the methods to test my application.
Is there any online testing tool which can test my application on different blackberry mobile models?

Thanks

The BlackBerry Java Development Environment (BlackBerry JDE) comes with simulation tool which consists several blackberry mobile models. You can use them to test your application. I couldn't find any online tool for this and if you found let us know.

Here's the link for BlackBerry JDE

BlackBerry - Java Development Environment

DeviceAnywhere provides a service where you can buy time on different phones and test your application. They offer different network provider configurations, geographical locations, etc. They give you remote access to a physical phone on which you can install whatever you want and test it. There are other companies like this, but I think these guys are the biggest.

In my opinion you should download the JDE (specific to your OS version compliance), then run your application cod files on the desired device simulator...

I've used DeviceAnywhere and it's really cool. But make sure you use their free trial first to get a feel for it. One of the issues I had was that you don't know all the specifications on a device before booking time on it. So you might get in and find that it doesn't have email configured, for example.
