Default connection problem thru usb cable..

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I faced some problem when I wanna connect my storm 9500 thru usb to my pc.. It indicate that my device not recognize.. I can't detect my device in desktop manager.. Just wanna ask is my device problem or the cable problem?? I am using nokia cable..

Could be several different things. One or combination of the following.

1.)Make sure you have the proper drivers installed. This is usually done when you install Blackberry Desktop Manager.
2.)Try a different USB port on computer... NOT a usb hub port.
3.)Try different cable.

Also, you need bbmanager running first

good - fixed it while I was typing a response
We have had problems in the past with aftermarket cables.

I am having the same problem. I have it connect with a cable and the storm charges, but desktop manager doesn't recognize that it is connected. I have installed and reinstalled DM several times and nothing seems to work. The Storm charges but DM doesn't see it. Help!
