Based on the information that I received from my source, RIM will be releasing an update for the 9530 tomorrow. I do not know what version number it is going to be. Of course, my source can be wrong; however, I feel confident that this is the correct information. You do not have to believe me but I hope that I am right.

Doesn't matter when RIM releases anything, since they don't release directly to the public.
It's up to the individual carriers to decide when an OS update is released to the public.

I hope these sources are better than the ones on Sunday who said "a new version will be released on Monday".

Interesting that Bell Mobility released .76 and then pulled it off their web site.

Email from a corp VZW rep says...

The first Software Update for the BlackBerry Storm launches Friday, December 5th. The new software version is v4.7.0.75 (Platform 4.0.0.94). This release provides several enhancements to Storm customers:

pretty much the same feature/fix list that was already posted.

By 12pm today, RIM's webupdate page should be updated, and OTA update should start working for some.

The BlackBerry® Software Updates site should have it for download by 6pm

At 12:45 I used the RIM webpage updater and got a new os fpr the Storm. It is still loading and I have to leave as soons as it is done, so I wanted to let everyone know that RIM has released an upgrade exactly as Mark Venture has said would happen. Good Luck.

Still nothing from VZ though and if you are on BES the online or OTA updates are worthless as they can't be used.

As for the RIM webpage updater... where one find that?

talked to support a couple hours ago and was told it would be available between noon & 5p today but nothing yet,also said it was going to be .75 released.

Just got the email, just ttried to update ,same sa the leaked .75. so it said no update needed.
