How can we get RIM to make all day events listed on the BB Today theme? I know its not possible now, but this lack of functionality has really got me flustered. I just switched from WM6 to a Curve (which I love btw), but WM6 did allow you to view those all day events. Makes it way easier to view birthdays when they are coming up. And a way to view more than 2 future events.

in 4.3 you can remove the IT Policy from the BB in security options I read, infact I thin Jibi wrote it, but either way, thats def the coolest feature in 4.3!

there are a number of people on here that know a lot more than they say but will not say anything to jeopardise their relationship with RIM, myself included. In my experience those who talk about what they know, in fact know very little.

As for 4.3 most of the benefits are to be had with BES 4.1.5, the changes in inbox and calander styling is pretty but not very useful!
Completely agree with you!
No way would I even think about breaking NDA just for a chance for five minutes of glory, RIM is way to important to me.

This may have been talked about 1000 times over but....
What's the deal with not releasing the latest OS for all their devices?

I hate knowing that 4.3 and 4.2.2 are out for devices other then the 8800. It makes me think Badly of RIM, and I don't want to do that because FTW!

Most like two reasons, carrier pressure (IE X carrier doesn't want it released until they can lock down X, Y, Z) and that they still have issues that need to be worked out on these devices.

NDA's are both brilliant and extremely annoying at the same time. Brilliant in that they have to be there to protect everyone thats working but annoying in that you often get to see really cool stuff but then just cant tell anyone about it I'm pretty sure that anyone that has a NDA with RIM has better sense then to break it

I carried TS SCI status for a while in the Marine Corps... that was not a fun process to go through! But on a side note, when the Marine Corps did their background interviews, they helped me locate friends I had not spoken with in years!

I was offered to beta test the new BES back at the end of september but nothing ever came of it. At the time they expected it to last 2 to 3 months.

Below are some of the features in BES v4.1.5.

-Intelligent HTML & Rich Text E-mail handling

-Free/Busy lookup during meeting request creation

-Follow-up Flags

-Remote email search and retrieval

-Application Extensibility

-Enterprise IM Enhancements

-Security Enhancements

-Voice Enhancements

-Calendar Synchronisation Improvements
