Is there a application you can change your profile setting and on your though USB? It would be really cool if there was computer program that can change all your settings to your phone on your computer.

While it is a good idea, for the most part it's not practically doable because if the BB is in Mass Storage Mode, the SD card (where most add-on ringtones are stored) isn't accessible to the BB. And if Mass Storage Mode is off, then the PC cannot access the SD card for the application to point to ringtones for the profile you wish to edit.

You bring up a good point. It is one reason that I copied my PHONE'S main ringtone into internal memory and use that one instead of the sd card version. That way the phone can still ring while hooked to usb/charger. (I don't know if my 8830 might have a default ringtone if it cannot access one that is on the card while charging on usb)
