Hi i am new to BES I have few doubts on it

1. Is BES like an application server like jboss , tomcat etc?
2. Is it possible to deploy application in BES & used it like an application server from blackberry mobile?
3. Can BES support JCO, RFC, SOAP, XML java libraries?
4. Can the java application residing in the BES connect to SAP using JCO, RFC etc., - utilizing the BAPI functionality available within ECC?
5. What needs to be done to make our device to work with BES in a push environment?
