Hello,

I am trying to install BES 4.1.6 on 64 bit version Windows Server 2003 R2 and I am unable to install Exchange System Manager 2003. I am installing this before BES installation. According to KB11927 BES 4.1.3 or later can not be installed on this verison of windows but the "Blackberry Enterprise Server for Microsoft Exchange Compatibililty Matrix" says BES 4.1.6 install on 64 bit Windows Server 2003 is supported. If anyone has installed BES 4.1.6 on 64 bit Windows Server 2003 then I would appreciate some guidance.

Did you try SP2 yet on 2003? it is supported

Yes Windows Server 2003 SP2 is applied.

You can apply the 2007 CDO and it will work with 2003, then you wont have to change it if ever going to 2007.

Downloaded and applied the Exchange MAPI and CDO for Exchange 2007. Will post back the result of BES installation. There are warnings about "mismatched MDAC (version 2.82.1830.0 is on the server)" and "Exchange Server is not detected. A new versionof mapi32.dll may need to be installed".

The install went very smoothly and email is being redirected normally. I Ignored the mapi32.dll and MDAC mismtach. Thank you very much knottyrope.
