Default 8330 on Telus continually reboots

So I picked up an 8330 on Monday from Telus. It came with 4.3.0.xx already loaded on it, and it kept rebooting the same day i had gotten it. At the time, i didn't realize this would be an issue, I thought it was doing some updates. But now, it's getting annoying. It seems to be when i receive a txt or email, it will do this. But not all the time. If I shut the radio off so it can't talk to the EVDO network, it's fine, it won't reboot. It's done it under the 4.3 OS and it's done it under 4.5. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for it, but every so often, a txt or email will struggle to come in, and will cause this thing to have a fit, and it will be hours until it's "fixed". So far, this is what I've done, to no avail:

Upgraded to 4.5.0.82 (it was the latest OS available from Telus)
Reloaded OS 5 times
Downgraded back to 4.3.0.xx
Deleted Messages and Service Book DB's

Next step is to javaload this thing, and try another carrier's OS. Failing that, I don't know what else to try.

So I called them this morning, they said to take it back.. ooook. I took it back, got another silver 8330, and this one is doing the exact same thing. It was doing it with factory loaded software, I updated to 4.5.0.77 and .89, both did the same thing. Called Telus techsupport, we turned off data services, and it was still doing it, said he couldn't find out why it's doing this, and said to return it and get another. This'll be my 3rd Curve in a week. Not looking good. I may just ask for my money back and get something else.
