Default Searching Devices

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all- i ned some help on my bluetooth. i have the BB 9700 and when i search devices i usually only pick up certain ones. Example i could pick my sister up on her BB who could pick my girlfriends Samsung up but i cannot find her device when i serach devices and she can't pick my BB up yet she her phones picks my sisters BB up... Why is this? Is there a setting i need to change or could it be her phone setting?

Please help and thanks in advance!!!

A bluetooth-enabled device must be "Discoverable" in order for it to appear when you search for new devices.

You can turn the "Discoverable" flag on/off in the the bluetooth options.

You mean go to options and enable bluetooth or am i missing the bus here. Still learning my way around this BB thing

Enable bluetooth, open the bluetooth options screen, and make sure Discoveralbe is set to yes, then save.
