Can I Upgrade My Bold 9700 Using DM 4.6?

Or I must have DM 5.0 since the 9700 comes with 5.0 OS?

Thanks

Upgrade the OS?

We don't recommend using DM at all to upgrade

Its my understanding, you have to use 5.0 as was said above me.

the loader.exe in the apploader folder of desktop manager under program files.
But i always used DM and never had a problem.

you need to use DM 5.0 to upgrade OS 5.0

Ok great, I will install dm 5.0

Can I do that straight over dm 4.6? Or must remove 4.6 first?

Thanks

That is not true. I ran DM 4.7 well into my 9700/OS 5.0 days. I have since upgraded to DM 5.0, but DM 4.7 works, too.
