I haven't heard anything about a release date yet.
Should be an interesting release. It's nice to see them finally address the battery/scrolling issue.

It doesn't seem to "alert" me either when there is a new Tweet, I have the settings correct on the BB. Facebook alerts me, but not UberTwitter? I guess I'll also bump the "where's the manual" question.

Do you really want it alerting you for every new tweet you receive? I am following 180 people and get about 500 tweets each day... that many alerts would drive me nuts! |

I'll be very interested in the new beta. Only real issue I have with UT is it severely drains my battery. I don't use it during the day (I sit at a computer all day and use TwitterFox) so only turn it on at night...and can practically watch my battery drain. Can't imagine running it all day.
