I believe you can add your BB email as a secondary email account on Myspace and still get notifications sent to the app without receiving the email. It's working for me so far anyway.

This apps works fantastic. Except, there is no notification when receiving new comments or messages. Unless I don't know how to change that? lol

Why does it suck?

Facebook for BB works the exact same way.

Go to Edit My Profile, then Account Settings, then mobile, then Enable Alerts, and you will get this screen. You can set them all right there.

There's the actual service which can be debated, and the BB app. You probably need an avid user of both to make an objective decision based on the functions available on the regular site and the functions available with the bb app.

No way myspace is totally better than facebook, the user interface, the photos are high quality, the adding and viewing photos has an awsome look, navigation is pretty outstanding, the notification issues with new mail, friend request's etc, sucks but all in all this app is well ahead of Facebook, but thats my personal opeinion hehe

I AM an avid user of both, and Facebook wins hands down. But that's because there are differences between Facebook and MySpace, and I prefer Facebook's differences. But that's just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions.. LOL

I've been playing with the MySpace app over the last couple of days, and it's really nice if you have a fast network, especially 3G.

If not, it's a lot slower to work.

App-wise, Myspace has the win in my book. As for the actual website...they are both essential to online "networking". Why choose when you can use both?

SO far, I love the way the myspace app looks and works but for some reason it doesnt work quite right. wondering if I should uninstall and reinstall it.

Right after I first installed it it gave me myspace notifications (little myspace symbol on my home page when I had new messages and what not) but now it doesnt do that and I have to physically look through my comments and inbox to see if I have new messages...

It's not that big of a deal but if it can be fix definitely wanna get it done

Is anyone getting a uncaught exception on the myspace app stating it was not responding then terminating the process? I get that when I try to access my messages.
